HOW WAS IT SHOT? - LYNN NAGATSUKI

A few months ago, 120 LOVE collaborated with Japanese actress, Lynn Nagatsuki for a skateboard graphic shoot.  The idea was to shoot her on Velvia, and use the contact sheets as the main graphic for a 120 LOVE designed skateboard.  For the shoot, we used a Bronica SQ-A with a 105mm lens using specifically slide film because we wanted the contact sheets and film information as part of the deck design.

Considering that there weren't any Polaroid film at the time of the shoot, and Paul forgot to bring my light meter, Lynn was shot digitally on a Canon X7i to get the exposure settings, which were then used for the Bronica.  Below are the sequenced images.

It was an exciting working an up-and-coming artist, and we're excited to have released her skateboard for online purchase here.
