ZEROPIXEL FESTIVAL 2021 - BODY - 8th EDITION

2021年、トリエステ(イタリア)で行われる写真展示会のために日本人の写真家を募集しています。展示会の期間は、11月〜12月の1ヶ月間を予定しています。今年の展示会のテーマは、『CORPO』言い換えれば、BODY(体)です。全ての作業は、フィルムカメラでの撮影で行わなければなりません。デジタルカメラでの撮影はNGとなります。また、暗室でのプリント作業などもあります。より詳しい情報を知りたい方は、info@120love.me でご確認お願い致します。

ZeroPixel Festivalは2014年に初めて開催された。過去7回、私たちの地域の数名の素晴ら しい写真家たちの参加を光栄に感じています。2020年のFestivalでは、とても素晴らしい ものができました。具体的に、40名以上のイタリアの写真家、そして他の国からの写真家 たちの作品が展示されました。

毎年、参加している写真家たちは私たちのテーマ(暗室でのプリント、Polaroid Mosaics、 Offcamera techniquesなど)に反応するように勧められています。100%コンピューターで も大丈夫です。撮影からプリントまで。

CORPO | BODY | 体

今、私たちは8回目を計画しています。そしてテーマは『体(body)』を予定しています。幅 広い深い意味を持ったインスピレーションを提供します。写真家たちの想像力や創造性に 制限をかけないためにも、最大限の表現の自由が与えられています。『体(body)』とは何 なのか?写真家たちは厳しく、非常に抽象的な中で意味を考えることができる。

以下8回目のFestivalの詳細の情報です。
・ZeroPixel Festivalは完全にアナログの写真に専念しています。そして今、それは8回目

です。
・Festivalの主要なイベントは2021年11月にイタリアのトリエステで行われる。 ・私たちは唯一アナログなプリントを特徴とした展示会を開催しようとしている。毎年、 私たちは全ての写真家たちの写真を掲載したカタログを出版している。 ・11月中、私たちは、ワークショップ、ディベート、デモンストレーション、単独の展示 会や他の文化的なイベントを開催するつもりである。私たちは高い水準を毎回毎回設定し 続けている。

・毎年、私たちは難しいテーマを提案している。そして写真家たちに特別な写真を作成す るように頼んでいる。写真家たちはそのテーマに直接的に関係がある過去の作品を提案す ることも可能である。 ・今年のテーマは『体(body)』である。全ての作品は、そのメインテーマから発想、アイ デアを得るはずである。しかしそれはそれぞれの創造性により自由に解釈できるかもしれ ない。 ・グループ展示会では、それぞれの写真家は最大1メートル(10.5フィート)を利用できま す。白い額縁と黒いプラスチックのフレームを使用しないように奨励している。標準的な 写真サイズは30cm×40cmである。Be creative!! ・今年、私たちは写真家たちに作品のデジタル版のコピーを送ってもらうように頼むつも りである。それは5月末までに送ってもらう予定である。カタログや宣伝用の資料として 使う予定である。オリジナルプリントは9月末までに送ってもらう予定である。 ・今年、海外の写真家たちは参加料の支払いを求められることはない。なぜなら、写真家 たちはイタリアまで作品のために輸送費がかかるからです。私たちはたいてい海外から来 ない写真家たちにカタログの印刷やフェスティバルの費用を支援してもらうために参加費 50ユーロを貢献してもらうつもりである。

Short project description:

Zeropixel Festival eighth edition in 2021 proposes the theme BODY.
The photographers who wish to participate to the collective exhibition named "BODY" and the project's Partners are invited to represent the BODY by the traditional silver photography or by creative, experimental, off-camera and polaroid techniques but without any digital contamination.
Zeropixel’​​s eighth edition goal is to create a photographic anthology shown in collective and monographic exhibitions and published in the Festival catalog.
The eighth edition of the Zeropixel Festival will also be full of novelties and will include 10 photographic exhibitions, 6 workshops, 5 conferences.

The BODY theme opens up to admirable representations and great suggestions, and is this year's challenge for those who follow and will participate in the Festival.
Although it is a subject that has been extensively treated and explored throughout the history of photography and art, it is nevertheless always relevant and is part of the creative and interpretative path of every photographer.

Everything that has a BODY can be represented: starting from the living beings of the animal and vegetable kingdom. Photographers therefore have the task of moving between all the meanings of the term: to follow the alternation of life cycles, delving into the enchantment of birth and growth, losing themselves in the harmony of forms or perhaps chasing another concept of beauty, far from the invasive and glossy stereotypes that less and less represent us.

We will confront the sanctified or damned BODY, the healthy or sick one, the beauty or ugliness, the ambient BODY, urbanized or sylvan, its external aspect, the internal one with the magnificent complexity of the organs and cells or the invisible one. A human BODY investigated over the centuries by artists, philosophers and scientists, which contains brilliance and transience, made of matter and feelings, reaching out to challenges and research, but also a fragile envelope to protect those twenty-one grams that in 1901 the doctor Duncan MacDougall indicated like the weight of the soul.

The BODY is also a highly topical theme, since it embraces the meaning of health, illness, death or healing and can also offer an unprecedented artistic and cultural reading of the current serious pandemic situation.
But if all these ideas were not enough, there are many other meanings of the term BODY, understood as a whole (for example the celestial body), collection (for example the body of a library) up to that of a photograph. There is the corpus of an artist's works, but also the corps de ballet, the medical and military corps, the body indicating the size of the characters in typographical points.

The BODY enters into Physics, Astronomy, Medicine or Law, not to mention all the idioms and phrases used in the language: "giving substance to news", "giving body to shadows"; we throw ourselves" body and soul "or" dead body "in an enterprise", we swear with a "body of Bacchus!"

And again the representation of the BODY can draw inspiration from the divine italian poet Dante Alighieri, whose 700 years of his death occur; the great poet and man of letters with his works was able to depart from the most intransigent medieval vision, the one that saw the body as a receptacle of vices and passions, as opposed to the incorruptible soul impregnated with celestial matter. Dante welcomed and enhanced the suggestions of

Guinizzelli's Stil Novo, arriving at the religious spiritualization of love, so that the beauty of the body can convey the beauty of the soul.
The theme of corporeality then crosses the entire Divine Comedy: the carnal body of the poet, which still casts its own shadow, moves among the souls of Hell, capable of experiencing the pains and anguish of when they were alive and interacts with those of Purgatory, lighter and fluctuating, defined as "doves that whisk away".

The Photographers therefore only have to be inspired by the new theme in full creative freedom, recalling the motto of ZEROPIXEL Festival:
Photography without digital!

The Project​’​s phases:
As in previous editions, the Festival will have three phases: the pre-Festival in the summer months where will be presented at the Barbacan Produce art market, the Festival phase with exhibitions, cultural in-depth conferences, performances and workshops in various public and private cultural places in Trieste, Tolmezzo, Ronchi dei Legionari, Sacile and Umago in Croatia and a post-Festival phase when the exhibition of the Sergio Scabar Second Prize will be set up in Gorizia.
